Due to the uncertain world health situation, the organizer of the event Infront and the title sponsor Campagnolo decided by mutual agreement not to organize the race scheduled for the second half of 2020.

Infront, the rights holder and organizer of the prestigious cycling event Granfondo Campagnolo Roma, today announced that the 2020 edition will not be organized.

"It has been a difficult week in which we thought about which was the most responsible choice - said Alessandro Giacomini, CEO of Infront Italy - By mutual agreement with the title sponsor of the event, we have had to opt for a cancellation of the event planned for autumn 2020".

In view of the international health situation, in fact, confirming the organization of a mass event such as a Granfondo, which has brought together cyclists from all over the world for years, would have been incorrect, both towards the cyclists themselves and towards the sponsors who invested in this event.

The Granfondo Campagnolo Roma is an important cycling race, but also an occasion in which sportsmen, tourists, families and friends from all over the world meet in the eternal city to visit the artistic and cultural beauties of Rome in a joyful and party.

After the postponement of the Olympic Games, the organization's choice was to stick to common sense and the provisions in force on other major international events.
