Granfondo Campagnolo Roma is proud to announce a new charity program for 2019: a partnership with Rete del Dono, called Pettorale Solidale.
With Pettorale Solidale, we encourage all riders to take part and raise funds in support of their chosen favourite Rete del Dono-approved charity, while taking on the closed roads of the Granfondo Campagnolo Roma. Whatever your challenge, whether to record a personal best time on one of the timed segments, or simply complete your ride in any of the events held on Sunday 13 October, you can now easily raise funds at the same time.
Participating in the Pettorale Solidale program is easy: at the moment of your subscription, simply choose one of the Rete del Dono-approved non-profit organizations, and in the process become a Charity Ambassador.

Rete del Dono-approved charities:
Umberto Veronesi Foundation
The Umberto Veronesi Foundation is the Official Charity Partner of Granfondo Campagnolo Roma 2019. Starting with a donation of only 20 Euros, you will help this foundation to support the scientific research on the male oncology field through the project “Salute al maschile” (male health). The Umberto Veronesi project was born in 2015, dedicated to the promotion of male health.
Sport Senza Frontiere & #BackToSport
Sport Senza Frontiere (Sport Without Frontiers) works to encourage social inclusion through sport, supporting children and teenagers that live in socio-economically challenging conditions. By choosing to help Sport Senza Frontiere, you could help guarantee that 10 children are looked after from expert educators and psychologists, and be part of a sports team and practice sport for a whole year.
Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation & Task Force project
La Fondazione per la Ricerca sulla Fibrosi Cistica (Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation) funds advanced research projects to improve the length and the quality of life of patients suffering with Cystic Fibrosis, and aims to permanently defeat this currently incurable disease. The Task Force project for Cystic Fibrosis is currently aiming to develop a life-saving medicine that will positively affect 70% of Italian cystic fibrosis patients. Since 2002, the Foundation has invested 20 million Euros that have supported 291 research projects, involving more than 170 laboratories.
