Granfondo Campagnolo Roma is delighted to unveil the official jersey of the 2019 event, designed and created by Italian cycling apparel brand Alé in a new technical partnership.
The 2019 Granfondo Campagnolo Roma official jersey is the result of the close relationship that Alé shares with its sponsored professional teams. The Italian brand has been collaborating for years with the professional riders of Groupama-FDJ, Bardiani-CSF and Team Alé - Cipollini.
Granfondo Campagnolo Roma is proud to announce a new charity program for 2019: a partnership with Rete del Dono, called Pettorale Solidale.
With Pettorale Solidale, we encourage all riders to take part and raise funds in support of their chosen favourite Rete del Dono-approved charity, while taking on the closed roads of the Granfondo Campagnolo Roma. Whatever your challenge, whether to record a personal best time on one of the timed segments, or simply complete your ride in any of the events held on Sunday 13 October, you can now easily raise funds at the same time.
We are delighted to announce our partnership with Bike We Like, the bike rental partners of the eighth edition of the Granfondo Campagnolo Roma.
The partnership offers every rider of the Granfondo Campagnolo Roma the opportunity to rent a bike for their ride with Bike We Like, saving you the hassle of packing and transporting your own bike to the Granfondo. This means that you can ride through the closed roads of Rome and the beautiful landscape of the Castelli Romani carefree, without worrying about additional luggage!
Are you ready to challenge yourself on the timed climbs of the Granfondo Campagnolo Roma on 13 October?
Here are the details of two of the four timed climbs of the Granfondo: Rocca Priora and Rocca di Papa. These two climbs are in the territory of the Castelli Romani - a famous region on the route of the Granfondo Campagnolo Roma, and which also featured in Stage 5 of this year's Giro d'Italia, from Frascati to Terracina.
Four events to choose from on 13 October:
- Granfondo Campagnolo Roma (120km, with more than 2000m of vertical elevation)
- In Bici ai Castelli (60km)
- L'Imperiale (60km - for pre-1987 bicycles ridden by cyclists in vintage clothing)
- Ride Roma (25km)

After the first 1000 bibs sold out on the day of pre-registration, registration for the VIII Edition of the Granfondo Campagnolo Roma will open officially tomorrow!
As it has been for the past seven editions, the sooner you register, the higher the possibility of starting from the first grids, behind the big names expected at the event. Like World Champion Alessandro Ballan and the winner of the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix Andrea Tafi, some of the VIPs who were at the start of the race last October.
